Dr. Garrett was born and raised in American Fork. His family has a long tradition of serving the health needs of the residents of Utah County (his grandfather was Dr. Guy Richards). He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University, a Master of Science in Audiology from Brigham Young University, and his Doctor of Audiology from the Salus University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and certified by the American Speech Language-Hearing Association.

Prior to opening Timpanogos Hearing & Balance, Dr. Garrett worked for Sonic Innovations in the Customer Care division working with and training hearing professionals across the country to ensure their patient’s hearing aids were working correctly. He also split his time working in the research department at Sonic Innovations. William Sparrow, Au.D.

William, his wife Ashlee and their daughter live in Benjamin, Utah. After serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Arizona, William completed his bachelors of science degree in communicative disorders and continued on to earn his Doctorate of Audiology from Utah State University. William has worked in an independent private ENT clinic as well as in major hospitals. William became interested in audiology because he has a sister who was born with a severe hearing impairment. This helps him to relate and empathize with people who are also experiencing hearing loss.

Dr. Sparrow specializes in hearing and balance disorders, including diagnoses and treatment of hearing loss. He has extensive training in vestibular testing, as well as Central Auditory Processing disorder, and tinnitus. Dr. Sparrow will be seeing patients in both American Fork and Spanish Fork.

Dr. Sparrow enjoys sports, camping, hiking, swimming and spending as much time as possible with his wife and daughter.
