The Signs of Hearing Loss Most People Ignore

Hearing loss doesn’t happen overnight, it creeps in slowly. If you recognize any of these, it’s time to talk to an audiologist.

Conversations Feel Muffled

You hear people talking but can’t quite make out the words, especially in groups or noisy restaurants.

TV Volume Keeps Rising

Family members complain the TV is too loud, but you can’t understand dialogue without it cranked up.

Asking “What?” Constantly

You find yourself asking people to repeat themselves, or just nodding along when you didn’t catch it.

Ringing in Your Ears

A persistent ringing, buzzing, or hissing (tinnitus) that won’t go away, often linked to hearing loss.

Exhausted After Social Events

Straining to hear all day is draining. Listening fatigue is a real sign your ears are working overtime.

Trouble Focusing & Remembering

Untreated hearing loss is linked to cognitive decline. Your brain works harder when it can’t hear clearly.

Recognize 2 or more? Don’t wait, untreated hearing loss gets worse and affects your health.

Questions? We Have Answers.

Is the hearing evaluation really free?

Yes. Your comprehensive hearing evaluation is 100% free with no obligation to purchase anything. We’ll test your hearing, explain the results, and discuss options. Whether you move forward is entirely up to you.

How long does the appointment take?

Plan for about 60–90 minutes. This includes your case history, diagnostic hearing test, a review of results, and a conversation about next steps. We never rush our patients.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No referral needed. You can call us directly to schedule. If our evaluation finds a medical issue, we’ll coordinate with your physician.

What if I just have ringing in my ears (tinnitus)?

Tinnitus is one of our specialties. Over 90% of tinnitus cases are linked to some form of hearing loss. We offer advanced tinnitus treatment programs that go far beyond basic masking.

Will I be pressured to buy hearing aids?

Never. Our job is to give you accurate information and honest recommendations. If hearing aids aren’t right for you, we’ll say so. If they are, we’ll show you options across every price range.

How much do hearing aids cost if I need them?

Modern hearing aids range from entry-level to premium, with options for most budgets and financing available. We’ll only discuss devices if your evaluation shows they would genuinely help, and we always respect your budget.
