Author: Dr. Layne Garrett

Born and raised in American Fork, Dr. Layne Garrett continues his family’s long tradition of serving the health needs of Utah County—following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Dr. Guy Richards. His passion for audiology began after serving an LDS mission to the Deaf in Boston, where he witnessed firsthand the life-changing power of communication and hearing restoration. Dr. Garrett earned his Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University, a Master of Science in Audiology from Brigham Young University, and his Doctor of Audiology from Salus University. He holds the Certificate Holder in Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) from the American Board of Audiology and a postgraduate diploma in Auditory Neuroscience from SAERA University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is a Certified Provider recommended by the American Tinnitus Association (ATA)—recognition given to a select group of clinicians nationwide.
