Helping Locally and Internationally
Dr. Layne and Kim Garrett of Timpanogos Hearing & Tinnitus traveled to Brasília, Brazil in the fall of 2025 with the international chapter of Hearing the Call, bringing the gift of hearing to 169 people who had been living in silence. Over several unforgettable days, they fit hearing aids, performed hearing tests, and witnessed life-changing moments — like two sisters, just seven and twelve years old, hearing their mother’s voice for the very first time. This mission was made possible through the generosity of Timpanogos Hearing & Tinnitus patients and the clinic’s ongoing commitment to donate a portion of its revenue to both Hearing the Call International and Hearing the Call Utah, the local chapter helping Utah residents who can’t afford hearing care. Every patient treated locally helps make moments like these possible — connecting hearts, families, and lives through the power of hearing.
Hearing the Call-Timpanogos also helps local patients in need. Because hearing care is so important to relationships, cognitive and emotional health, they are committed to making it accessible to as many as possible.
Local people in need can apply through the Hearing the Call Timpanogos Foundation. Those who qualify AND who are willing to themselves provide 10 hours of community service are eligible to receive free hearing aids and care.
